I read the article in the New York Times, I found the subject matter interesting, it fell in the catogory age group that I am in now. The article with true and accurate, my opinion is that now more than ever the age group that starts at fifty is being overlooked in the employment industry. The article pointed out that our old school charactistics are no longer appreciated.

And even with educational degrees, if we don’t continue to update our skills we are of no use in the employment society, wow, education is now no good, what have this world become?

So really, in oder to land a employment opportunity, I would have to be up to date in technology and have a lot of energy,( in good physical condition) to even be considered for a position.
Our options to used our 401k’s or sell our homes, come to mind, however, is not the wisest choice, saying that we really have an emergency, let say should I become ill! So the country of opportunities what do i do now at the ripe age of 50, and I have no job? Do the hustle!
